Been closed for a few months
I used to work here as a Chef in the early 90s. Now that was a great restaurant very busy for carvery. The staff were very happy and helpful. I went there recently and the food wasn't fresh food it was all QF. I even stood at the kitchen door talking to the bar staff that was cooking the food. Her hygiene in the kitchen was not on the ball. Her knowledge was poor, she was clearly out of her comfort zone. This needs to turn back into a Carvery Restaurant for it to get back up there where it used to be.
Lovely atmosphere and surroundings .Staff very friendly.Beer very cheap.All together nice place to eat and have peaceful drink.
